Abigail Forrest
Associate Attorney
Abby is an Associate Attorney at McGarvey PLLC, assisting with the firm’s property law, probate, and trust matters, among others. She will also provide key research support to the McGarvey team.
About Abby
As a law clerk/legal assistant, Abby immersed herself in the legal field working for a variety of organizations including the Houston Museum of Fine Arts, Conroe Independent School District, and several law firms. As the Executive Editor of the Houston Journal of International Law, she led a team of editors producing the legal publication while creating content including the timely reference article “Tracking Footprints: the Need for Stronger Data Protection Laws in the Digital Age.”
Her beliefs align firmly with McGarvey’s dedication to volunteerism and the firm’s commitment to helping those in need. She is a former board member of the non-profit CARPOOL organization, as well as an ardent cat lover and animal rescue volunteer.
